I had a wonderful experience with Stay with Nimman in Chiang Mai. A very peaceful stay. Very clean room, plenty of amenities and a very nice place to stay over all. I had great food as well. I loved their spa and the massages I had were wonderful. The view from the roof was super cool, and the pool was nice. All hotel staff were kind and went out of their way to help me. Thank you for making me feel welcome and comfortable, Stay with Nimman!

It was good except the hotel made two twin beds into a queen bed and the lamp shade was dangerous as if you slept there you would injure your head. We had requested on large bed, so we had to ask them to separate the beds this is not what we wanted as we are a married couple. Others then that the food was good and the room was clean and they had good facilities and the hotel in in the center near all amenities

Good value for money, good breakfast, clean, comfy bed and pillow, friendly and efficient service. My only beef is location. from Maya mall is still within walking distance, but walking is not really convenient particularly when it rains and the road the connects the hotel to the main road is puddled.

What a very beautiful place to stay in nature. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great too. My only negatives would be that the rooms were a bit run down and smelt very damp considering the price we paid for the plunge pool room. Also the plunge pool room doesn’t have much privacy as you can see your neighbours either side and the room above is set back. Also burning season slightly spoilt our trip to Chiang Mai as the air pollution made me have “hay fever” for the entire stay and it got worse the longer we stayed.

Location: Melia is situated in the city center, just 2 minutes away from the night market and nearby streets. There are plenty of massage shops surrounding the hotel. Room: I booked a family room, which is very spacious; however, the ceiling feels a bit low. Service: The service was excellent, with friendly smiles everywhere. The check-in and check-out process was very quick. Vibes: The overall vibe was great, though the weather was not ideal, which limited our enjoyment of the swimming pool. The kid zone definitely is a plus plus.

A truly unforgettable first trip to Chiang Mai, all thanks to Chala Number 6. This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and it completely exceeded my expectations. When our driver dropped us by the roadside, I was briefly unsure—there was no typical drop-off area, and the hotel was nestled beside a school. I started worrying if I’d made the right choice, especially with my mom traveling with me. But those doubts vanished the moment the bellboy crossed the street to greet us and carry our bags. From that point on, everything was seamless. Our room was ready before the official check-in time (bonus point right there 🍪). The grounds are beautifully landscaped and incredibly Instagram-worthy. Traditional music plays softly in the background, creating a calming, almost spiritual atmosphere. One of the biggest surprises? Complimentary afternoon tea from 2pm to 4pm. I’m usually not a fan of traditional desserts, but theirs were so thoughtfully curated and visually stunning—some even reminded me of Nyonya kuih from home. Breakfast was simple but included local Thai items. One dish made from sticky rice, coconut milk, and egg wrapped in banana leaves brought back memories for my mom—it tasted just like her childhood. It rained almost every day during our stay, and at night we could hear the sounds of nature—croaking toads and gentle rainfall. My mom said it felt like we had traveled back in time. There’s also a temple right across the road. As someone who’s a little superstitious, I found comfort in that peaceful presence 😅. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. The Sunday Market literally starts at the hotel’s doorstep, and there’s a 7-Eleven just a 2-minute walk away. A few minutes further is Lila Thai Massage—I didn’t get to try it myself, but I’ve heard nothing but great reviews. Chala Number 6 made this mother-daughter trip so special. I’m truly grateful for the kind service, the thoughtful details, and the peaceful atmosphere. The price? Well worth it. Thank you, Chala Number 6, for taking such good care of us. We’ll remember this stay for a long time. 🙇♀️

Finding Phra Singh Village in Chiang Mai can be a bit tricky without GPS, as it's nestled within narrow alleys, but arriving at the hotel immediately surprises you with its beautifully wood-themed facade. The lobby, although small, is wonderfully decorated and fragranced with cinnamon, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The check-in process was exceptionally smooth—upon arrival, we were seated on a sofa, served a refreshing fruit juice welcome drink, and had our passports quickly processed. The hotel may be compact, but it is stunningly designed with extensive woodwork that adds to its charm. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring windows that actually open—an increasingly rare amenity. The minibar was well-stocked with both complimentary and paid options, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was top-notch, although the water was a bit too hot for my liking. One downside was the air conditioning, which only targeted the feet area, making it advisable to sleep with socks on to avoid getting cold. Surprisingly, a flashlight (which lacked batteries) was mounted on the wall next to the light switch. When asked, the staff explained that the region often experiences power outages during rainstorms, which accounts for this unusual provision. Breakfast was excellent overall, except for the omelettes, which were a bit too bland and pale for my taste. However, dining in the hotel's garden environment was truly delightful. The staff throughout our stay were outstanding, enhancing our experience with their attentive and friendly service. In conclusion, Phra Singh Village offers a blend of hidden charm and exceptional hospitality, making it a memorable place to stay despite its few quirks. Highly recommended for travelers seeking a unique and intimate experience in Chiang Mai.

GGuest UserI rarely write reviews for hotels, but I must write this one. Very good hotel, warm service. The service staff will think of small details. My daughter stayed in bed in the morning, and the breakfast manager prepared a takeaway box to help us prepare breakfast for her to take back. All questions about the itinerary were answered. We encountered the largest flood in history in Chiang Mai, and all the itineraries were disrupted. The hotel was in the worst-hit area, and they considered us from beginning to end and did their best to arrange it. We took a small boat, and four hotel waiters, including a deputy manager, pushed the boat in the chest-deep water. It took an hour to reach the land. The hotel arranged other hotels to get us out of trouble. Thank you very much. A memorable hotel!

PPHYO PHYO WAI YANG YINGWe are extremely satisfied with our 3 days 2 nights stay at our Villa 6; Two-bedrooms villa type with private big swimming pool and exclusive outdoor Onsen is a bonus. This hotel provides world-class courtyard landscape with waterfall inside our villa room & equipped with modernised high-tech app in the villa that made us feel like we are in holiday atmosphere. The breakfast delivered every morning 9am to our villa as requested and they have 6 options healthy menu to choose and food are considered delicious and enough for everyone. Each room has individual standing shower, bathtub, shower tub and digital toilets. My husband really enjoyed his toilet experience during his stay. Provides wide selection of mini bars like- evian, perallagio, coke, beer chips, almonds & cup noodles and replenished rapidly. Provides in-room dinning menu from <Deck One> my boy & his friend enjoyed their food in room service deliciously. My husband & I tried their Spa service located at 10 mins drive from the hotel. It might probably belong to same group or they outsource. I tried body scrub and facial treatment service and we were assigned at a rooftop villa suite massage room. The therapist is very skillful and pleasurable. We tip them 500bahts each therapist for their excellent service during songkran. CONS: the master bedroom bed should be KING size or super King size instead of Queen bed. Recommends to upgrade their mattress quality. Overcrowded with furniture inside our master bedroom. CONS: Pest control services recommends frequently, but hotel is.kind enough to provide mosquitoes pad and spray etc. CONS: Our arrival experience is not very pleasant as the receptionist lady obviously lack of SMILE; maybe she is upset to work during Songkran. However our butler boy is very friendly and good enough to communicate with us in English. We love his services and tip him generously. We will love to come back again however the room rates are really high comparing to Ritz Carlton/ Conrad in Koh samui; but why not ?

SShirley^Excellent: The room is clean, comfortable, simple and stylish in design, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a bathtub and a living room The waiter has good service and smiles The hotel has a beautiful environment and is comfortable, with plenty of check-in slots The location is not close to the city. It feels comfortable and quiet. There is no problem with a car. It takes about 15 minutes to go to the city. There is a convenience store nearby and a restaurant opposite. Missing: It may not be the peak season, the fitness room is not open, and there are no instructors available.

JJessie.lymingI was attracted by the swimming pool on the picture of the resort, however it was a little bit disappointing in fact🙈 And the location was a little bit hard to get in too, unless you liked quiet environment for stay🤔 I think the biggest advantage of this resort was the rooms were big enough as you can see😂 But there was ONE thing I was very concerned about: the lock of the door🚪 I forgot to take the picture of it but it was only a normal door lock, no other security lock on it😅 It made me feel unsecured even we lock the door🔐 To sum up, I think I won’t come back again although the breakfast was good🫣

NNoahFrom the moment I stepped into this riverside hotel in Chiang Mai, I knew I was in for a special experience. Nestled by the gentle flow of the river, this hotel offers a perfect blend of tranquility and luxury. The room I stayed in boasted a stunning view of the river, where the morning sun casts a golden glow on the waters, creating a breathtaking scene to wake up to. The room itself was a masterpiece of comfort and style, with plush bedding, elegant decor, and all the modern amenities one could wish for. The hotel's location is not 100% ideal, but offering a peaceful retreat. For those like me who are tired of the chaos in the heart of Chiang Mai but don't want to stay too far away. Believe it or not, this is the right choice. I found it incredibly relaxing to sit by the pool and watch the traditional boats glide by. In the evenings, the riverside area transformed into a magical space with twinkling lights and the soft murmur of the water. As a boutique hotel, the breakfast is OK and the staff is very friendly. The rice noodles I tried there were, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever had. What truly set this hotel apart, though, was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. They were attentive, and friendly, and always went the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. They can speak English, Mandarin Chinese, and Thai. In conclusion, this riverside hotel in Chiang Mai is a gem that offers an exquisite blend of natural beauty, Thai culture, and exceptional service. It's a perfect choice for anyone looking to experience the best of Chiang Mai in a serene, luxurious setting. Highly recommended! Get a motorbike, they are a large yard to park!

XXujiaI am very satisfied with the service of this hotel. There is a Chinese-speaking guy at the front desk who helped me solve a lot of problems. I must give him a thumbs up. I originally read the previous reviews because I was worried about dogs barking. After I went there, I found that the guest rooms had Chinese signs. If they heard a dog barking, the staff would go to the neighbor's house to negotiate. In fact, I didn't hear a dog barking during my 4-day stay. I also like their breakfast, which has an a la carte menu and a small buffet. The decoration of the hotel is also very good. It is indeed a small boutique hotel. Thank you very much for the hotel's service.
