Hotels With spa in Gloucestershire, United Kingdom

The service was very good. The staff were friendly and efficient. The room and bathroom were very clean. The choice of food at breakfast was excellent and I was made to feel welcome and relaxed as a single lady (this is not always the case in hotels even these days). I enjoyed using the swimming pool which was situated near my room.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham-Cotswolds is an excellent base for exploring the Cotswolds. Housed in an elegant Georgian manor, the hotel boasts a lake and extensive grounds, offering a truly idyllic countryside atmosphere. The twin rooms are clean and spacious, with soft and comfortable bedding, and reliable hot water in the bathrooms. Some rooms even offer lake views. The facilities are comprehensive, with a heated pool, sauna, and gym all available for use, making it very relaxing after a day of exploring the towns. The lakeside restaurant has a beautiful setting, and the breakfast selection is plentiful. A thoughtful touch is the complimentary Hilton signature cookies upon check-in. The staff are friendly, and parking is free, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. The only minor drawback is that some areas of the facilities show a slight bit of age. Overall, it's quiet and comfortable, suitable for families and self-driving tourists, and highly recommended as a lodging option for your Cotswolds itinerary.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for my 60th birthday. With my daughter. The views are breathtaking and the hotel its self . Great location the staff are very welcoming and courteous. There is lots of parking , unfortunately we did not get a chance to use the spa facilities. Our only negative thing was our room although lovely the carpet had a few stains on it and our windows did not open easily , and the entrance hall to our room was very dirty we had been given a room in the grounds outside of the hotel and for the cost of our stay we were very disappointed after seeing such elegance, with the main Hotel and the lobby etc . We had also been given a room with a bathroom that was more suited to someone who needed more support and although there was nothing wrong with that , it would of been nice to have had a choice of a bath as well and we felt someone else might have benefited more with this set up on their stay.

Perfect stay! Staff were lovely, food was good and thanks to Leann & Tyler for going above & beyond and making our trip all the more memorable! Food was enjoyable and fresh. The spa and massage were lovely, and the jacuzzi was powerful and warm. Dinner was excellent, and the wait for it was worth it. Definitely reccomend the lamb dish! The breakfast was generous and we enjoyed all of it apart from the mushrooms as they were a bit plain. The superior king bed we booked was slightly uncomfortable due to it being two twins pushed together, but the room was very spacious, clean and aesthetically pleasing. We would stay again, thanks for having us!

We were disappointed on arrival to find that we had been allocated a standard room, instead of the Opulent one we had booked through trip. The receptionist was very nice but wasn’t able to give us the room we booked as there wasn’t one available. She gave us a slightly better room which was ok but looked like it was ready for a refresh. We needed to call reception as there wasn’t no hair dryer in the room but there was no instructions for using the phone, when we worked it out there was then no answer! We then needed reception again later as our neighbours were playing really really loud music, again no answer. Besides this, the hotel was very nice, the restaurant was very good and reasonably priced, the pool was nice and the breakfast was good. We would stay there again but book direct.

The room was amazing with a great view and very clean and spacious. The spa wasn't very attentive and forgot to change the time of our afternoon tea and there wasn't staff around to answer queries, that said the spa was enjoyable when they finally switched the steam on! The afternoon tea was amazing and the staff were brilliant there... The fight between 2 men in the evening spoiled the stay as the staff were unaware and I had to ask for security to calm it down.. it was then taken outside but upsetting to see grow men getting hit hard in the face! Not what we expected for our relaxing day at such a beautiful hotel!

We stayed here for Badminton Horse trials and had a great time! The staff were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. The breakfast was nice and there was a wide range of food available. We had dinner there every night as well which was lovely. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The overall experience of this hotel is very good, and the process from check-in to check-out is very smooth. The service staff is friendly and polite, the room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. The location is convenient and the surrounding living functions are also very convenient. The overall accommodation environment is comfortable and relaxing. It is a pleasant accommodation experience and I will visit again if I have the chance in the future.

Convenient location, very convenient to go anywhere. The facilities are a bit old and the beds are big. However, the light in the toilet in the room is very dark, and I feel that I can't see anything clearly, and I am quite dissatisfied.

Great rooms. Great staff. Lovely location. Drinks at bar exhorbitant price and restaurant food good but well overpriced. Had a nice time but no Christmas menu on 14th December.
