Staff greeted warmly, was able to check in slightly earlier even if it was 30mins early. Room was relatively clean and bed is comfortable, the view was astounding. It was worth the price I paid for! (Glad to come across the discounted prices)
There's BHC chicken, minimart and CU convenience store too, also other restaurants. Should you prefer another convenience store, there is a e-mart next to the hotel and a lot of the raw fish restaurants down the road. Though quite of a distance from the downtown city, taxi fares are relatively affordable. Great experience!
Nevertheless will definitely come back to stay again if opportunity arises.
I wanted to see Silla Monogram, but I came on a trip this time.
I was expecting it because I stayed ☺️
The facilities were new, of course, but the lobby was a bit smaller than I thought
It was a weekend, and it was a hotel in a tourist city.
There are some people who are crowded with guests.
The waiting lobby was a bit crowded. But the staff were so friendly
It was okay to respond professionally.
And the entrance from the underground parking lot was a little ambiguous.
Too much like an emergency exit? It's a door, so there's no entrance sign.. ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
The room condition and structure were okay. It has the advantage of being a little spacious because it is a residence. I checked the cup to drink coffee, but it was so stained that I drank it hard. ㅎ There is a checklist left by the last guest on the table, so don't you check it carefully? I want to...
It wasn't a big problem, so it was okay. .^^ Just in a small part.
There's a namebelliu. I think I'm expecting more.
Breakfast was well served and I was able to eat well.
In the food zone where restaurants gather in the evening, there are already reservations to eat, and there are a lot of regrets. .^^
Even if you don't go out, there are a lot of different things in the facilities.
I hope you can enjoy it.
If I get a little more seat, I want to visit again next time.
It was a last minute reservation we have made to enjoy our national holiday and it surely was a great decision!
The location of this resort is in prime spot right next to the Dae-po dock where for the seafood lovers you are in for a delight of fresh and cost efficient sashimi and steamed crabs.
Not only that, the resort itself was very resourceful for the families who bring their youngs
- massive indoor playground
- arcade for the little gamers
- quiet family friendly walk way into the shorelines
- indoor water park
(Stopping here because my fingers hurt trying to write everything down!)
Lastly, the rooms were cleaned at exceptional quality with the ocean view.
Definitely coming back here next year!
Everything was clean and the staff was so polite. They didn’t rush me out of the room. The photos match the actual room so I was happy about that. The pool and views were amazing. Thank you so much. Will come again. I also loved the location as it’s easy for travelers without cars. I didn’t get a chance to have breakfast as I woke up late but hopefully next time 😊
The elevator was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning wasn't working, and it felt especially cramped when it was full. This definitely needs improvement. However, the facilities were excellent and very comfortable, and the overall layout was well-designed. What's more, unlike the heated pool in Sokcho which had an unpleasant odor, Samcheok's was perfectly clean and odorless. I'd definitely love to go back.
The location is so good that I visit often~~^^
Even though it's old, I visit often because I like the beach walk.
I recommend the hotel because it's cleaner than the resort.
I especially recommend the ocean view even if it costs a little more.
It's worth it~~^^
I was in room 515, and the plaza was visible,
and the bathroom was relatively clean.
Very good getaway skii trip. Around 8 minutes walk to Alpensia Ski area and with 30% off showing the hotel booking or hotel card. Nice room with decent size, smart TV with youtube and netflix, Wifi is fast. The fridge is not cold enough though. Breakfast was okay but we still paid for breakfast on the spot as there are limited options.
Good experience with Legoland Resort Hotel! The location is very close to the Legoland Park. Many facilities within the hotel, but nothing to play in the legoland in winter. Most of the games was closed. Hopefully we can spend a whole day in the hotel.
The view from the room was superb, directly overlooking the ski slopes. The hotel is centrally located in the town, with dining and skiing just steps away. We didn't opt for breakfast during our stay, as we purchased items from a convenience store in town, so I can't comment on the hotel's breakfast.
As a new hotel, I was naturally very satisfied with the facilities. The pool had ample sunbeds, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and most importantly, the infinity pool with its ocean view was a great place to enjoy.
Since it's a new hotel, I'll share some of the shortcomings I noticed for the sake of improvement.
1. An unidentifiable smell in the hallway
I was on the 6th floor, and as I got off the elevator and walked down the hallway, I could faintly smell something like a sheep or llama enclosure. I was curious about what was causing the smell.
2. Breakfast
It's no exaggeration to say that half of the reason I go on a staycation is for the hotel breakfast. While the food wasn't terribly bad, the variety of food was limited. Granted, they do have a lot of bakery items, but I'm not a huge fan of bread. ㅠ I'm an adult, so I'll be okay with it, but my elementary school-aged daughter said it was absolutely disgusting...
3. Swimming Pool
I was very pleased with the facilities, but the lack of a discount for guests on the pool was a bit disappointing. I'm not sure if that's the case for a 5-star hotel, but~
I don't know about other aspects, but I'd go back if the breakfast was improved. Still, my daughter had a blast at the pool and had a great time.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel itself was fine, except that it was a bit out of the way! There are a lot of facilities, including a convenience store and hot springs. It's located a bit high up, so it might be difficult to get there without a car.

GGuest UserRooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the casino specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the casino donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.
GGuest UserThe Sokcho Cassia Hotel, which we visited for our wedding anniversary trip, was located in Daepo Port, and we could see both the port and the sea from the veranda of the accommodation. It was on the 25th floor, and when we went in, there was a slight musty smell from the bathroom shower room, so we took off one star for cleanliness! The breakfast here was 66,000 won, which was expensive compared to other accommodations, so we had high expectations, but there weren't many options for the price. Weekends are divided into three parts, and you can choose on a first-come, first-served basis when you check in. I think the checkout time was 11:00, but we checked out right after 8:00 after the first part of the breakfast to avoid traffic.
22022년 호랑이 해I booked a quadruple suite.
I booked it because the promotional photos looked great, and I was satisfied with the location near the terminal, so I booked it.
After checking in, I realized that the bedroom was spacious for four people, and the living room was perfect.
The air conditioning worked well, and the Styler was perfect, so I could really relax.
The coffee and tea were also great!
Disposable items aren't provided these days, so just bring those.
Just right! There were plenty of towels too.
Ahaha~~~ The fridge was a bit small for its size, but it only held eight 500ml water bottles.
It's close to restaurants, bars, and convenience stores, so I'll definitely be back.
HHeiTravellersPros
Easy access by paid shuttle bus from Seoul which stops at tower B.
The suites unit is spacious with 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms ( eventhough the master bathroom is wet type) & living room. Sparkling clean.
There are plates, bowls, mugs & cutlery sets in the room.
Microwave in common area near lift.
Some staffs speak English.
Tower B is centralized with eateries, supermarket, sauna, farmacy, bowling table tennis, karaoke, etc at the basement and underground link to Ski Park & Snowy Land.
Great place to spend for holiday with plenty of facilities/activities for all ages
Cons:
No luggage storage before check in & after check out.
Need to pay locker service for the storage.
Only small towels are provided but I think it is kind of Korea Hotel standard practices
Cleaning on alternate day & need to make a call for it.
2 water bottle are provided despites booking for 5 pax
To note:
We booked shuttle bus service online through Trazy application. The bus stopped at a rental shop before reaching Vivaldi Ski Park. We rented helmet( ₩10.000/day), goggle(₩ 10.000/day) & helmet with sun visor ( ₩ 20.000/day) from there.
We regretted it so much after found out that the rental price at the Vivaldi Ski Park ticketing it much cheaper.
Goggle is only ₩5.000 for 8 hours which is more than enough for Skiing in 1 day.
JJhoanna_mBooked a room for three it was big with two rooms but there were only two single beds in one room and the other nothing, my daughter had to sleep on the floor. The room smelled like bleach. Towels provided were small. Few choices for food and they were bit expensive. People at the reception were ok, however the staff at the shuttle information were the best. Went above and beyond to help me figure out my route back to gimpo.
TTheGiantPandaIf you are looking for an easy sunrise experience, this hotel is for you! You can set the alarm, then open the curtain. Once the alarm goes off, open your eyes and there you go! Sun is rising in front of your eyes!
My happiness was beyond words.
The beach, the sauna, the vibe was all fantastic!
HHan DevilisAngelNice hotel inside Nami Island. Room is clean, bathtub is clean, toilet is clean except for some dust at the toilet roll area which doesn't affect much. Bed is abit hard but comfy, heating is good, in fact too good we were perspiring in the middle of the night with a minus 10 degrees temperature outside lol. Surrounding is quiet and peaceful, very nice environment. Complimentary drinks in the room are nice perks. Overall love the stay and will come again if there's an opportunity.
AAnonymous UserThe room was clean and everything was good, but the bed was made of a topper. But it's a 5-star hotel, so it had a topper. Other than that, everything was good.
