Hotels With Parking in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel, which is in a fantastic location. However, we encountered a significant inconvenience during check-out. Our flight was at 7 AM, so we checked out around 5 AM to catch a taxi to the airport. Unfortunately, both the elevator and the lift were turned off at that time. Since the hotel is located on the second floor of the building, we had to manually carry all our luggage down a long flight of stairs. This was especially difficult as we were a group of five, including two elderly ladies. Thankfully, my husband was able to manage the luggage, but this situation could have been very challenging for others. We strongly recommend that the hotel ensure the elevator is operational for early-morning check-outs to better accommodate guests.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Station. The facilities are also very new and modern, and there's a dedicated lounge perfect for dining or catching up on work, with complimentary coffee available. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fukuoka.

Location of the hotel was fantastic. Walkable to the main busy area with lots of restaurants. It was golden week when we stayed so the roads were all blocked off. The hotel breakfast was amazing. Japanese style with perfect variety and so lovely and tidy. There are magnets on the room doors where you can indicate if you need housekeeping or just towels. We did towels only and there was a big bag of fresh towels and pjs hanging on the door. It was a small room but functional. Had AirPlay on the tv. Also has welcome wine and popcorn plus a coffee machine in the lobby. The lobby also has all the items you need such as toothbrushes, comb, hair ties, shaver, face towels. I would stay here again.

Location is great. 1 min walk to the underpass and it’s linked to many restaurants and mall. It’s a small hotel. Room is small but spacious toilet. Bathtub and standing shower available. We like the toilet. The only issue we had was seeing a dirty cloth left by housekeeping in my room AND it was on top of my open luggage which my clean stuff was there. I was upset and called the front desk. The staff came up as he could not understand what I was saying. * The staff are not good in English. In the end I passed the dirty cloth to him. I took taxi 2 way from hotel from airport and it’s around 2200-2400 yen each trip. Overall, we had a good stay as the bed was comfortable too.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right within JR Kokura Station. This made exploring AMU incredibly convenient, and there's even a massive Muji store directly across from Kokura Station. Waking up and being able to start shopping immediately was truly wonderful. Among all the hotels I stayed at during this trip, this room was the largest. The fixtures and complimentary amenities were all very new, and the bathroom boasted a convenient three-way wet/dry separation for the shower, sink, and toilet. Of the four hotels I stayed at in Japan this time, this Kokura property offered the best value for money. Highly recommended!

Clean and well appointed hotel within 8 min walk from Hakata Station. Love the soft lighting and rows of tall bookshelves in the lobby. Brings a sense of calmness. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 6 and 9) and the Chapter 3 room was spacious with a huge bathroom. Would definitely stay here again.

As a solo traveler, I was looking for a slightly cheaper option and didn't mind a smaller room, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The hotel's location is just as convenient as those near Hakata Station. The Nanakuma subway line is right at its doorstep, and it's also a straightforward 10-minute walk along the main road to Hakata Station. Canal City is right next door, Kushida Shrine is just behind, and there's a 24-hour drugstore and a large supermarket right by the hotel, making shopping incredibly convenient. Housekeeping isn't daily; it's every other day. If you need your room cleaned, you can place a request tag on your door. However, even when the room isn't cleaned, fresh towels are provided outside your door.

Miyako Hotel Hakata is in a fantastic location — right across from Hakata Station and surrounded by plenty of malls, shops, and restaurants. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. One of the highlights is the spa area, which includes both indoor and outdoor bath on rooftop (13F) — very relaxing after a long day. One downside during our stay was the parking situation. We were traveling as a group with multiple pieces of luggage, but the hotel entrance isn’t directly connected to the parking area, which made it a bit inconvenient. Also, the hotel parking lot is closed between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, which might not be ideal for guests with late-night plans. Overall, it’s a great hotel and definitely one I would recommend for anyone staying in Fukuoka!

Fruit smoothie on weekends only. Small variety for them to name as “breakfast hotel”. 🛌Clean, good self-service amenities (toothbrush, shaver etc.) with various brand’s shampoo/conditioner to try, standard bathtub, water dispenser at lobby level, free ☂️umbrella loan service. Iron available upon request. Coin laundry available. Special discounted 🅿️parking rates at 2,000 JPY for nearby parking complex (paraca) or limited 4 parking spots in front of hotel. 5min Walking distance to bus stop that connects to Hakata station and 10min walk to Yatai stalls that are beside Canal City Mall. 5min walk to Kishida Shrine subway (on main line). 2min walk to Shopping arcade with lots of massage spots, Daiso and restaurants. 1min walk to 🛍️Don Don Donki straight ahead from hotel road.

The location was incredibly convenient. After exiting Nakasu-Kawabata subway station, you'll immediately spot the distinctive Matsuya restaurant on a prominent corner of the intersection. A quick glance around from there and you'll easily see the hotel building. Plus, there's a large Don Quijote discount superstore directly above the subway station – a great bonus! As we were only staying for two nights, we opted for the most basic room. It had a window, was roughly 20 square meters, and offered enough space to comfortably open two, possibly even three, medium-sized suitcases. The king-size bed was also quite generous by Japanese standards. Soundproofing was decent, though we occasionally heard some noise from the hallway. The hotel features a communal bath, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to experience it. The front desk staff were fluent in English, but their Chinese was limited. Japanese hotels typically offer basic housekeeping services. We also noticed that the cleaning staff were primarily Indian gentlemen. Therefore, it's advisable to temper your expectations regarding room cleaning.
