Xi'an's No. 1 Ultra-Luxury Hotel! Undoubtedly the Top-Tier Hotel in Xi'an
There are so many high-star hotels in Xi'an, but only two can truly be called luxury hotels. In my opinion, whether considering room size, dining, design, or service, The Ritz-Carlton Xi'an is undoubtedly the representative of ultra-luxury and the undisputed top-tier hotel in Xi'an.
1. The hotel has been open for over six years, and its operations have long been mature and stable. The design firm Remedios Studio uses architectural language and interior design as a medium to retell the glorious history and culture of the ancient capital around the theme of civilization. The hotel's exterior features a black and white color scheme, using stone and glass curtain walls to fully showcase a quality urban lifestyle concept. The interior space blends art and history, with large-scale artworks decorating the lobby, public areas, guest rooms, restaurants, and executive lounge. The design language is not ostentatious but a very modern and classic Ritz-Carlton style.
2. Ritz-Carlton is always known for its service. I have stayed at the Xi'an location several times, and the service is impeccable, maintaining Ritz-Carlton’s consistent standard of standardized service processes. From concierge, front desk, restaurants, guest rooms to the executive lounge, the service is very good, with thoughtful details that add extra points. For example, when I brewed tea in my room, the housekeeping staff noticed and kindly added several extra tea bags and placed more water, showing attentive service awareness.
3. Beyond excellent service, Ritz-Carlton also speaks with outstanding products. In terms of dining, each restaurant has its own characteristics, presenting different culinary flavors. Jing Xuan Chinese Restaurant offers exquisite Cantonese cuisine. Besides à la carte, the classic Cantonese dim sum buffet is highly recommended, with all dim sum made to order and over 50 varieties available. The all-day dining restaurant Fresh Kitchen serves a daily buffet dinner, currently featuring seafood & hot pot themes. The prices are on the higher side for Xi'an, but the quality is naturally excellent.
4. The Blaze Teppanyaki Restaurant is recommended for the classic Japanese all-you-can-eat. The unlimited Japanese dishes are very rich, including appetizers, salads, sashimi, teppanyaki, robatayaki, and more, with fresh sashimi especially recommended. The lobby bar’s afternoon tea is a must-visit; I personally love this space for its great atmosphere and the outdoor garden seating that feels like a secret urban oasis. There is also the 27th-floor FLAIR bar, which is trendy and arguably the best bar in Xi'an High-tech Zone.
5. Another major feature of The Ritz-Carlton Xi'an is that it has the largest executive lounge in Asia. The executive lounge is located on the 23rd floor, occupying the entire floor as an exclusive area, with a spacious layout and outdoor balcony seating. The lounge is divided into multiple functional zones including dining, reading, bar, leisure meeting, and conference areas, with a reasonable layout. Guests with executive privileges can enjoy breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea, happy hour, and evening cocktails & desserts here. Five meals a day allow guests to spend a wonderful day entirely in the lounge.
6. The hotel is located in Xi'an High-tech Zone, the best location in this area. There is a subway station just across the street from the hotel, providing easy access to all major attractions in Xi'an. Right downstairs is a shopping mall, offering everything for dining, entertainment, and leisure.
