Zhenyuan Ancient Town is located in the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and is an ancient town with a history of more than 2,000 years. Compared to the hustle and bustle of Miao villages, this place is a better choice for a quiet and relaxing, slow-paced place. Recommendations❗️❗️ During the day, you can go to Libo (as mentioned before) or go river rafting in Zhenyuan (costing about 220 yuan), and at night, visit Zhenyuan to see the night view of the Wuyang River. You can look up at the Shiqing Mountain, and next to it is the Qinglong Cave ancient architectural complex, which requires a ticket of 60 yuan per person. Personally, I suggest you don't need to go, just stand on the opposite pier to see the full view🏔 🟠 Shiping Mountain The only way is to walk up, which allows you to overlook the entire ancient town, and the perspective from the top is super great. Since we were with children, we did not climb it. Those who want to enjoy the panoramic view of the ancient town can go there. There is also an ancient city wall on the top, 30 yuan per person, open from 8:00 to 16:30 every day for entry 🟠 Ancient Streets The alleys and architectural complexes of the ancient streets are quite distinctive, worth checking in. Walking along the riverside streets at night to see the night view is super nice. The new bridge at night offers a view of the lights on both sides of the river, very suitable for a family outing and relaxation🎶 🥢 Food Recommendations: There are many delicacies in the ancient town, tofu pudding, and grilled fish with tofu are local specialties, highly recommended. We found a popular local restaurant: Gu Cheng Miao Jia Tu Cai Guan, which also has a river view! 👀 🏠 Accommodation Recommendations: There are many accommodations, you can choose according to your needs. If you want quiet, you can choose near Zhusheng Bridge; if you want convenience, choose near the new bridge.
