Trust me, you won’t get tired while enjoying the beautiful scenery

Remember to take the Gangshou Cableway up and get off at Jinsha. Let me tell you, the Jinsha Cableway isn’t tiring, maybe it’s because people are just very fit! I personally saw many people walking up from Jinsha, and many were so exhausted they wanted to give up. It’s at least a thousand stone steps to reach Sunshine Coast. The most effortless way is to take the Gangshou Cableway up, visit Sanqing Palace, then head to the West Coast, walk back from Liuxia Terrace, and return to Gangshou Cableway down. This route is mostly flat boardwalks, with some slopes but very few steps, making it very friendly for elderly, children, and visitors with knee problems. Plus, the scenery on the West Coast is absolutely stunning—strange rocks, sea of clouds, fairy mountains, and strong pines. On clear days, it looks like a natural ink painting. Watching the faintly visible peaks in the sea of clouds feels like you’re truly in a heavenly palace. We took the Gangshou Cableway up, toured Sanqing Palace, then walked towards Sunshine Coast. Just past Yingtianfu, there’s a fork turning to the West Coast, an open area where we saw the Monkey King offering treasures. Then we returned to Sunshine Coast, walked all the way to Wulao Worshipping Sanqing, Immortal Pointing the Way, Giant Python Emerging from the Mountain, and Eastern Goddess, before descending via the Jinsha Cableway. Along the way, we passed an unmarked scenic spot. A nearby guide said it’s called “Such Beautiful Rivers and Mountains.” Seeing the suddenly rising three-dimensional landscape painting, tall and majestic, with perfectly placed green pines and cypresses, really brought tears to my eyes. I felt so lucky to be born Chinese. Our millennia-old culture takes root in our hearts, inspiring infinite pride through such natural scenery. This spot is not to be missed. Yujing Peak is under renovation and not open. We gave up climbing Yuwang Peak. The “One Line Sky” has over 300 very steep steps, so we gave up on that too. We also didn’t visit the Rishang Mountain Villa area. But I think we still saw many of the best sights. It took about 5 hours. Except for a section of uphill steps from Sanqing Palace to Sunshine Coast, the rest was downhill, which really saved a lot of effort. Sincere tips: 1. Buy tickets in advance. Sometimes tickets for the next day are not available. The park limits visitors to 15,000 per day. 2. Gangshou Cableway has strong capacity, fast speed, and reaches an altitude of 1600 meters. Jinsha Cableway often has queues; we started lining up at 12:25 and only got to the bottom of the mountain at 13:30. If you choose to go down via Jinsha, it’s best to be there before 14:00, or you might wait up to three hours. The Waishuangxi Cableway is currently under maintenance and will reopen on November 1. This cableway requires a long climb just to reach the station, which is the most physically demanding. 3. Buy a wooden walking stick for your knees. They cost 2 yuan each at the bottom of the mountain, and some people collect them for 1 yuan on the way down. You don’t need to carry too much food or drink; there are many small shops on the mountain selling snacks, instant noodles, and several coffee shops. There’s even a Dicos opening soon next to the Gangshou Cableway. Overall, the scenery is as good as Huangshan, and the boardwalks make sightseeing easier. Resting benches are densely placed, making it more user-friendly. The staff are very enthusiastic, and the experience is excellent.
