The village is built on a mountain, with ancient houses featuring flying eaves and upturned corners, layered and staggered, resembling a pagoda standing in the valley from a distance. This is the origin of the "Ta" in Tachuan. A clear stream flows through the village, bringing endless vitality to the small village, which is the origin of the "Chuan" in Tachuan. Together, they form the name "Tachuan." 🍁Best Time to Visit: Late October to November, when the rice fields turn golden and the sweetgum and tallow trees start to change from yellow to red, offering a different view every day. 😍 A local told us that we came at the perfect time. Before this weekend, the leaves hadn't turned red yet, and after this weekend, the rice 🌾 would be harvested. Route: 🚅By High-Speed Rail: Huangshan North or Yixian East, with Yixian East being more convenient as there are direct buses to Hongcun right outside the station, costing CNY 8 per person. From Hongcun to Tachuan, you can walk or rent a small electric scooter 🛵. 🚗By Car: Navigate directly to Tachuan. There are both paid and free parking lots. Walking among them gives a sense of tranquility and relaxation, reminiscent of childhood. ☕Tachuan Coffee Shop: The coffee shop itself is very photogenic. A short walk from the entrance offers a great view of an autumn ink painting, with golden rice fields, distant mountains, and interspersed tallow and sweetgum trees.
