You have to visit southern Anhui at least once in your life, especially in autumn.

Autumn has finally arrived in southern Anhui. The combination of Hui-style architecture, Chinese tallow trees, rice fields, and persimmon trees creates a unique and stunning autumn scene in Jiangnan. Starting this week, the autumn scenery in the ancient villages of Yi County, Huangshan, has reached its peak. It's time to go! 🍁 Recommended Autumn Route If you have 1–2 days, you can follow this excellent route: 📍 Lucun Village → Tachuan Village → Hongcun Village 1️⃣ Lucun Village 🎫 Free Be sure to visit the observation deck in Lucun Village to see the sunrise and morning mist. It's recommended to arrive before 7 am. The clouds and morning light after sunrise cast a stunning view on the Hui-style architecture. It's recommended to use a telephoto lens to capture the Chinese tallow trees and buildings together📷 After taking photos of the morning mist, take a stroll around Lucun Village. The village is full of persimmon trees, and the "Wood Carving Building" is also worth a visit. 2️⃣ Tachuan Village 🎫 Free Tachuan Village is one of the four major autumn scenes in China. The fiery red Chinese tallow trees and golden rice fields🌾 can only be described as a colorful forest. Set your location to "Tachuan National Forest Park," where a large area of rice fields is preserved, and you can take your time to take photos. 3️⃣ Hongcun Village 🎫 Free every Wednesday (reservation required in advance) If you have time, it's recommended to walk slowly from Tachuan Village to Hongcun Village. The entire route is filled with stunning autumn scenery. You can stop at any beautiful spot. You can also visit the nearby Qishu Lake and Xieli Observation Deck. 🚄 My Transportation Guide 🚗 If you're driving, navigate directly to each attraction. 🚌 For public transportation, you can refer to my itinerary: Take a high-speed train to "Huangshan North Station" from various places, then take a direct scenic bus to Hongcun Village for CNY 30 per person. There are many buses available. For transportation between Lucun Village, Tachuan Village, and Hongcun Village, you can take the Yi County Bus Line 1 (many buses available) or rent a shared electric bike at the visitor center. It's very convenient. Once again, I am amazed by the beauty of southern Anhui, a place worth visiting countless times, especially in spring and autumn. Its beauty is unparalleled.
