Zhujian Happiness Hot Pot at Zhongyue Plaza, Xinzhuang

Spent a few days in Hawaii and only had BBQ buffet twice. Even the Hilton Resort didn’t offer a breakfast buffet. It’s tough surviving in a place with limited buffet options 🥲. Back home, I quickly went for a hot pot meal to rejuvenate my body and soul 💞. Zhujian’s self-service bar is one of the most diverse among mixed-style all-you-can-eat places. They offer a wide variety of vegetables and hot pot ingredients. Recently, they’ve even added various staple foods, ensuring you leave fully satisfied 👍. Arriving at 11 AM on Saturday, there was only shrimp paste available initially, but later they added milkfish paste. Unfortunately, there were no egg dumplings today, which was a bit disappointing. Other ingredients were plentiful, with taro and corn being particularly good! The vegetable selection was also quite diverse. We ordered pepper pork bone broth for both pots today. The flavor was rich and perfect for cooking vegetables and dipping meat, making it a go-to choice for us! The meat options included chuck steak and pork shoulder. Both had decent thickness and quality. Membership perks include 5 points that can be used immediately! The sauce station is excellent, with fresh scallions and a highly recommended Mala Beef Sauce. It’s not spicy but incredibly fragrant and flavorful. The sauce wall also features 5 suggested sauce combinations for you to try! For dessert, they offer Meiji ice cream (8 flavors) and Ming Fruit ice cream (4 flavors)👌👌👌. Dining time is limited to 100 minutes from entry, but during off-peak hours, they won’t rush you!
