The lobby design is absolutely stunning—clean lines infused with local character, perfectly balancing contemporary aesthetics with ancient city vibes. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you'll instantly feel at home. The elevator lobby, designed by HBA, takes it up a notch with its brass lattice walls and deep crimson lighting, evoking the mystique of Chang'an under moonlight. I enjoyed evening cocktails at the bar, where the atmosphere shifts dramatically—vibrant lighting and bold colors create an electrifying entertainment space. Sipping premium spirits by the window with city lights twinkling outside was magical, like witnessing a duel between sensibility and rationality, or a dialogue between humanity and divinity. The room's welcome amenities were lavish: throw pillows, rugs, murals, and seemingly casually placed art pieces all showcase HBA's meticulous attention to detail. I adored the BALMAIN bath amenities in the wash area—their woody, sophisticated fragrance was divine. The oversized bathtub is Instagram gold (just remember to draw the curtains unless you want to star in someone else's view!). The Executive Lounge holds its own with soaring ceilings and panoramic views. Bronze drapery and antique-style reading lamps beautifully embody Xi'an's ancient capital heritage. Service shines brightest here—evening light bites go beyond buffet offerings with live noodle stations serving fresh, hygienic, and delicious options, outperforming even Ritz-Carlton and InterContinental lounges! What truly touched me was the staff's thoughtfulness when I needed to extend my post-checkout lounge stay. They twice encouraged me to enjoy dinner there before leaving. Though I declined, this genuine care exemplified both Xi'an's grand hospitality and Grand Hyatt's human-centric philosophy. As one of mainland China's most value-conscious Grand Hyatts, this property masterfully fuses modern design with millennia-old charm, creating an artful sanctuary. While its location isn't the most central, its intrinsic excellence and refined details guarantee unforgettable memories amidst Chang'an's timeless allure!
