Sunrise at Liyuan Garden in Wuxi ‖ The most beautiful scenery in the world

The Junlai Lakeview Hotel, where we stayed, is located on the edge of Liyuan Lake, next to Liyuan Garden. Standing on the balcony of the room, we can see the pavilions and towers in the distance, and we can't help but feel a yearning for them. We heard that Liyuan Garden is the best place to watch the sunrise over Lihu Lake. We got up early and walked about 7-8 minutes from the hotel to Liyuan Garden. Liyuan Garden is named after Lihu Lake. It is one of the main attractions of the "Taihu Lake" national scenic area, and is known as the "Shangri-la" of Wuxi. Lihu Lake is an inland lake that extends into Wuxi from Taihu Lake. It is named after Fan Li and Xi Shi, who once sailed here. The gate of Liyuan Garden is different from that of other parks. There is no tall gatehouse or decoration. It is like a family gate, with gray tiles and gray bricks. Only the words "Liyuan Garden" are engraved on the lintel, which is very inconspicuous. In fact, it was originally a private garden, inheriting the traditional low-key and introverted style of Jiangnan. Although the gate is small, there is a world inside. Sure enough, after entering the door, we walked through three halls and nine rooms, entered a dark corridor, and walked through a rockery. We were greeted by the surrounding lake embankment and a vast lake. We might have come a little early, and the entire lake was still hazy, as if covered by a thin veil. The park was quiet and peaceful in the early morning, and only a few old people were exercising. Liyuan Garden is actually a corner of Lihu Lake, incorporating the design and charm of Jiangnan gardens. Walking through it, every step is a scene. There are exquisite pavilions and winding corridors, and you can experience a unique tranquility and beauty. In the distance, the Lihu Lake is sparkling, and the water and sky are the same color, forming a landscape painting. Standing on the south embankment, we saw a red sun slowly rising in the mountains and water. The dawn broke, and the clouds were like brocade. The Lihu Lake Star Ferris Wheel, Junlai Lakeview Hotel, and the nearby water and trees were all bathed in golden light, shining brightly, like a dream, and the scenery was magnificent.
