Come to Wuxi to see the National Lotus Exhibition

The 38th National Lotus Exhibition has already opened and will continue until August 31. This exhibition, themed 'Beautiful China, Blossoming Taihu,' is set in the Taihu Scenic Area with three major exhibition zones: Meiliang Lake Scenic Area's Yuantouzhu, Guanshe Villa Wetland, and Lihu Scenic Area's Liyuan. The total area of this lotus exhibition reaches 120,000 square meters, with over 90 units from 8 overseas countries and 28 domestic provinces and cities participating, showcasing nearly a thousand varieties of lotus and water lilies, and cultivating over 10,000 pots of potted lotus. This National Lotus Exhibition has set five records: the largest display area, the largest pond lotus display area, the most participating cities and units, the most foreign representatives, and the most varieties of lotus and water lilies. The exhibition is divided into four major scenic areas: 'Exploring the Mystery,' 'Visiting the Realm,' 'Seeking the Trace,' and 'Finding the Mark,' with ten themed lotus landscapes: Lotus Charm in Early Bloom, Quiet Realm Exploring Lotus, Flourishing Lotus, Green Wild Fairyland, Cherry Valley Fragrance, Green Pool Reflecting Lotus, Splendid Lotus Ze, Rippling Lotus Dream, Yuantouzhu Lotus Fragrance, and Liyuan Theme Spot. Yuantouzhu Exhibition Area, Taihu Scenic Area's Yuantouzhu and Liyuan have a long history and rich experience in the cultivation and planting of aquatic plants such as lotus and water lilies; with rich germplasm resources, there are more than 500 varieties of lotus. Especially, Liyuan has been hosting the Boutique Lotus Exhibition for more than 20 consecutive years.
