My trip to Wuhan was a success!!!

The Westin Wuhan Fuli ✅ Soundproofing/Hygiene: During my stay, I found the hotel to have good soundproofing. I was not disturbed by outside noise when I rested, and I was able to sleep soundly. The hygiene was also commendable. The rooms and public areas were kept clean and tidy, making my stay comfortable. 🏘️ Room Type/Layout: I stayed in a basic room, and the room size was standard. The layout was reasonable, and the functional areas were clearly defined. The most pleasant surprise was that the room faced the river, with a full view of the Yangtze River Bridge and Tortoise Mountain on the left, and Wuhan Tiandi on the right, with a panoramic view of the dazzling night scene of Hankou and Hanyang. This excellent river view is above the Hilton Wuhan Optics Valley, and only the Marco Polo Hotel across the river can match it. 🛌 Supplies/Facilities: The hotel's public areas are luxuriously decorated and incorporate many Wuhan-style elements, making it very regional. Although the hardware in the rooms is a bit dated, it still exudes an old-fashioned sense of luxury. The bedding is Westin's signature Heavenly Bed, which is extremely comfortable, and the office chair is also very comfortable. However, the room was not equipped with a stereo or coffee machine (not sure if this was because it was not an executive floor). The bathrobe was slightly rough in texture and was placed in the closet with the umbrella and iron. In terms of the mini-bar, the complimentary bottled water was Chunshui Le (it is said that the complimentary drinks in the suites are Nongfu Spring). Drip coffee was used instead of a coffee machine. Alcoholic beverages in the mini-fridge are available for an additional fee. Tea bags and drip coffee are placed on a small tray. The welcome snacks included oranges and lotus seed biscuits, which tasted good. The bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. The shower has a rain shower head. Disposable personal care items are placed next to the single vanity. Shaving cream is from the well-known brand Dove, and the toiletries are Westin White Tea. The only drawback is that there is no smart toilet, and the corners of the bathroom facilities are not finely finished. 💗 Other tips: The hotel is in a great location, about 40 km from Tianhe Airport, about an hour's drive, and about a 10-minute walk from the nearest subway station, Jiyuqiao. Although there are no large shopping districts nearby, it is easy to get to Jianghan Road, about 30 minutes by taxi and 8 km away, or about 25 minutes by subway line 2. The doormen and concierge were enthusiastic and left a good first impression. The front desk was a little cold when I checked in, but the catering staff was very attentive. In addition, the air conditioning in the hotel rooms cannot be adjusted, and it feels a little hot when sleeping. The hotel bar is expensive for both accommodation and dining. The price of alcohol even exceeds that of luxury hotels such as the Shanghai W and Park Hyatt, and is comparable to that of the Peace Hotel. The Westin Wuhan Fuli, despite some shortcomings in hardware upgrades and some supplies, is still a good choice for tourists who are looking for a river view experience and who like the Marriott hotel brand, thanks to its unique regional decoration style, first-class river view, and quality service.
