Mercure Jakarta Hotel review: Comfort, convenience and a little surprise

#7月好去处2025 During my short stay in Jakarta, I chose Mercure Jakarta to stay for two nights. The overall experience was quite good and more satisfactory than expected. First of all, the location is very good. The hotel is located in the city, with shopping malls, convenience stores and restaurants nearby. You can find many choices on foot, which is very convenient for short stays or business trips. It is not too far from the hotel to Chinatown (Glodok) or historical attractions, and it takes about 20 minutes by taxi. In terms of the room, although the space is not particularly large, the design is simple and stylish, the bed is moderately soft and hard, and the pillows are also very comfortable. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, with complete supplies, stable hot water and sufficient water pressure. You can see the city view from the room window, and the night view is not bad. Among the public facilities, my favorite is the swimming pool and gym, which are of moderate size but well maintained; especially coming back at night to swim is very relaxing. In addition, the hotel's breakfast is also a highlight: there are both Western and local Indonesian meals, the taste is above average and the food is replenished quickly, and the service staff is also very friendly. Overall, the price of Mercure Jakarta is medium, but the hardware and services are worth the money. It is especially suitable for those who want to find a good quality accommodation with convenient transportation. If I come to Jakarta next time, I will consider staying here again.
