Hong Kong's first Korean steakhouse has opened in Wan Chai, featuring a unique dry-aged beef dish. 🐮 So, let's take you to Mo Chi to try it out! The restaurant boasts a stylish, vibrant burgundy decor, with spacious booths, each offering its own distinct space. The atmosphere is charming and inviting. Steak Omakase Selected Cuts For first-timers, I highly recommend ordering the omakase, which offers a variety of the restaurant's signature cuts, including their signature aged beef. It's a complete set meal. After ordering, five small Korean appetizers are served. The dried fish and chili sauce crabs are both incredibly salty, crispy, and delicious. 🦀 You'll definitely want to keep eating! The lettuce wraps are also quite generous. Besides fresh lettuce, they also come with Korean sesame leaves, cucumbers, radish, tomatoes, garlic slices, and green peppers. Add a little of their homemade rice wrap sauce and you can wrap even fattier meats to reduce the greasiness. After so many appetizers, we finally moved on to the main dish of the day, the Steak Omakase Selected Cuts. Upon entering the restaurant, you'll see their in-house aging cabinet, where premium beef is dry-aged to enhance its natural flavor and tenderize the meat. The staff grill the meats to ensure the perfect heat, so you don't have to worry about it. They'll even proactively change the grill. The service is top-notch. 💓 The meats include aged soy sauce beef short ribs, Wagyu underbelly, aged beef of the day, and Korean pork belly.
