Valletta in October 2022

Parliament House and Courts of Justice in the capital of Malta are two important buildings, because they represent the legislative and judiciary branches of the nation. The former is the meeting place of the Parliament of Malta and this new building constructed between 2011 and 2015 is controversial because of the modern design and the high cost. Many have compared the cladding design to a cheese grater or a dovecote. I certainly do think it looks unique though. The Courts of Justice building does not look extraordinarily special as it is built in the neoclassical style in late 1960s. It is worth mentioning because the trial for the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia took place during my visit to Malta on the 14 October 2022. #fallingforfall #malta #valletta
