The old palace in the center of the Indian city of Udaipur is now a museum called City Palace, which you can enter. The entrance fee is about 700 rupees. It's a little expensive by Indian standards, but the interior decoration is extremely luxurious and evokes the splendor of the Jaipur dynasty. It's very large and there are many exhibits, so you may get tired if you look at everything at once. There is a cafe inside, so you can have a drink and take a break.
