🇮🇹Turin "Piazza San Carlo"

#September2024 Piazza San Carlo occupies an important position in the hearts of Turin residents and is known as the "living room of Turin". In the center of the square stands the equestrian statue of Emanuele Filiberto, created by Carlo Marocchetti in 1838. To the south of the square are two Baroque churches: St. Christine's Church, built in 1639, and St. Carlo's Church, built in 1619. Piazza San Carlo is one of Italy's classic squares. It is large in scale, surrounded by beautiful Renaissance arched buildings and has many cafes and restaurants inside. It is a 5-minute walk south from the main square of Castro where the Royal Palace is located.
