It is one of the most representative Romanesque buildings in the Ebro region of Navarra.

The Parish Church of Santa Maria Magdalena was built in the mid-12th century on top of an earlier Mozarabic church. Its plan is a rectangular nave divided into seven sections, a slightly offset axis and a square apse. It is topped with a pointed barrel vault supported by ribs and historic capitals. Its exterior has two facades. There are three semicircular arches on the sides and four arches under the eaves of the main facade, all carved with historical bas-reliefs. The tower, located at the foot of the church, is divided into three parts, with semicircular windows and topped by a pyramidal roof with brackets. Subsequent 16th-century additions included the Santa Ana Chapel and the Silversmith-style main altarpiece. #AprilGoodDestinations2025
