Everything happened during the Muslim era until the Christians conquered it. All fortifications were dismantled and rebuilt during the Third Carlist War, on the orders of Charles V. Only the cistern buried in its original location has been preserved. There are now posters explaining the history of Tudela, and a spiral staircase that takes us to the top floor where there is a camera obscura. Here, through a system of mirrors, you can see the city 360 degrees from above. There is a tower next to the Sacred Heart of Mary, from where you can see a magnificent view. I recommend taking the panoramic elevator up to the tower for effortless access. It was a little difficult to access with wheels due to the soil type, but still accessible. #AprilDestinations2025 #SpainTravel
