Tasty Rice Ball Lunch

The Bayview Plaza in Tsuen Wan has recently undergone renovations and now has a small food court. I tried one of the stalls called Tenmi. They specialize in Japanese rice balls with a variety of options. I ordered a set meal that included a rice ball, soup, and dessert. I chose the mentaiko salad rice ball. It was quite large, almost twice the size of a regular onigiri. It was slightly warm, with a fragrant and slightly spicy mentaiko filling that was quite appetizing. The miso soup was hearty, with plenty of mushrooms, daikon, and Japanese fish cakes. It was perfect for warming up on a cold day. The dessert was warabi mochi, which had a nice texture. Overall, it was a very filling lunch for $54, definitely worth it.
