CHAVATY Omotesando

#Tokyo Food Guide "CHAVATY" in Omotesando is a tea latte specialty shop that uses fragrant tea leaves such as Uba black tea from Sri Lanka to create elegant tea lattes that are sweet but not greasy. Served with freshly baked homemade scones, rich salted butter and honey nut dried fruit dip, it brings a rich and layered taste. Since its opening in July 2018, it still attracts many people to taste it. CHAVATY currently has three stores in Japan: Omotesando, Arashiyama, and Hakuba. This time I ordered a tea and scone set for 1,380 yen. The set comes with two scones, and you can choose between two original flavors, one original flavor and one Uji Matcha flavor (additional 50 yen), or one original flavor and one seasonal flavor (additional 50 yen). Next, you have to choose the dipping sauce. You can choose two from three flavors: honey nut dried fruit, salted butter, and seasonal flavor dipping sauce. Finally, choose a drink, you can choose a tea from the menu. I was a little worried at first whether ordering two scones would be too much, but luckily CHAVATY’s scones were not too big and tasted just right. In addition to dining in, we also provide take-out service. You can order at the counter on the right. If you don’t have time to eat, you can also take drinks home to enjoy.
