Ichiran Ramen: A Safe Choice When You Don't Know What to Eat

First stop in Tokyo, I arrived in Asakusa and wanted to grab a bite, but didn't want to wait in line. Suddenly, I spotted an Ichiran Ramen across from Asakusa Tobu Station. It was located in the basement of a street-side building, and luckily, there was no line. I quickly ordered a basic tonkotsu ramen using the machine. After selecting the broth, noodle thickness, and saltiness, I handed the ticket to the staff and was seated. The interior was spacious, with both counter and table seating, giving off a typical Japanese ramen shop vibe. The ramen tasted similar to what you get in Taiwan, with a rich broth and chewy noodles. I finished it in no time. Ichiran's flavor is consistent no matter where you go, maintaining a high standard, though it lacks some uniqueness. If you don't know what to eat, it's a safe choice, just like Matsuya.
