Japan Travels: Shibuya Sky in Tokyo

This new observation deck is newly opened not long ago and it’s been trending everywhere on net, it has stunning views and scenery of Shibuya city and it’s surroundings. It’s around 230 metres above ground height, it feels like we are up on the sky. It’s also where they filmed the last episode of Alice in Borderland season 2. Make sure to book tickets online in advance to avoid being sold out for the day, it’s a famous spot among locals and tourists. We can only bring what we can carry inside our pockets to the deck, bags will need to be stored inside their lockers provided. We entered the deck around 830pm and it was cooling, we wore thicker clothes because we knew it will be a bit chilling during night time and we are so high up on the open-air deck. There are nets where we can lie down and watch the night sky, relaxing and doze off for a while. The area is quite huge and spacious, there are also a few spots for photo taking but be ready to queue for a while. We spent around 2 hours on top to enjoy the city view and the sky, it’s a relaxing and beautiful experience for us, the LED lights around the stairs and escalators are very nice. There is also a sky bar for customers to buy a drink while wandering around. After enjoying the observation deck, there is a gallery to walk around, a few magical spots to explore and a LED screen where we can see our funny yet mysterious reflection. There is also a souvenir store selling some merchandises and gifts to bring back home to remember the incredible experiences.
