Taipei Tourism: Bopiliao Historical Block

In the nostalgic alleys of Wanhua District, Taipei City, there is an area called Bopiliao that preserves old townscapes. This area retains the townscape from over a hundred years ago, featuring red bricks, arched sidewalks, and window lattices with floral carvings. It exudes an elegant yet simple beauty. The Bopiliao Historical Block is located next to Longshan Temple and is surrounded by Kangding Road, Guangzhou Street, and Kunming Street. It almost perfectly preserves the town style of the Qing Dynasty and the traditional shop buildings of that time. This architectural space has witnessed the development of Wanhua City and stands as a testament to its history. It is a place with unique history, culture, and architectural features.
