Taipei Diary | Mengjia Longshan Temple and Night Market Food Tour.

Tonight, I visited 📍Longshan Temple and drew a 'Great Fortune' lot. I was super happy! I sincerely hope everything goes smoothly from now on, and I won't be so anxious anymore. Life finds a way, and everything will work out 🫶🏻🥲 After leaving Longshan Temple, I went to 📍Mengjia Night Market and Huaxi Street Night Market and had a feast. Highly recommend 🫶🏻 the Michelin-recommended Yuanfang Gua Bao, which costs only NT60. Usually, I don't like eating fatty meat, but I found this Gua Bao surprisingly acceptable. It tasted amazing and wasn't greasy at all. I also tried 🫶🏻 the premium Tempura, NT55 per serving. It was my first time tasting rice blood cake, and it was okay, but not particularly to my liking 😅. Following the local way, I had some soup after the Tempura, and wow, it was delicious and surprisingly good 😌. After the savory food, I suddenly craved something sweet, so I went to 📍Yizhi Mai Ice Shop in Ximending and ordered their signature Mango Snow Ice 🥭🍧. It cost NT220, which is a bit pricey, but the fresh mango made it totally worth it. Finally, I went home feeling satisfied, ending the day perfectly. Looking forward to discovering more wonderful things in Taipei tomorrow!
