🇯🇵 Asagaya Sugunami city

One of the traditional shopping areas in Tokyo, a bit similar to Asakusa whereby you can find Sensoji Temple. To get to Asagaya station in Suginami city, you will have to take the JR train. Otherwise, you can use the Tokyo Metro Subway Marunouchi Line and alight at Minami-Asagaya station, which is about 7 to 10 mins walking distance between these two stations. It has many traditional shops selling snacks at the shopping arcade nearby and it is sheltered. There are many such sheltered shopping street all over Japan.
