Melbourne's low-key but surprising authentic Japanese cuisine

#March Good Places 2025 This time I went to Kuu Cafe + Japanese Kitchen, a Japanese restaurant run by a Japanese. The restaurant is located in a slightly remote location, not a tourist area, but more suitable for my kind of local slowly enjoy. We ordered salmon salad, Japanese fried chicken set, and served with coffee, all of which exceeded expectations! The salmon salad is fresh and refreshing, paired with Japanese Japanese sauce, very appetizing; the fried chicken is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, marinated enough, not overly oily, served with Japanese set dishes, very Japanese family flavor. As for the coffee, the quality is definitely not inferior to other coffee shops in Melbourne. The overall atmosphere of this shop is warm, feeling like you are in a small Japanese street corner shop. It is best for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and slowly enjoy a meal of authentic Japanese cuisine. If you like low-key and standard Japanese restaurants, Kuu is definitely worth a try!
