Today we visit the Cedele Bakery Kitchen outlet at Waterway Point which offers the convenience of both over-the-counter takeaway service as well as dine-in options with their own in-house kitchen. Our review today will be on their deliciously wholesome Ondeh ondeh cake (also my personal fav). FYI, they actually use organic unrefined sugar to bake this fluffy and super moist mult-layer pandan and gula melaka cake. The pandan layers are actually light and soft and layered in between is the yummy sweet coconut gula melaka filling which is further topped off with a creamy pandan frosting and a sprinkling of fresh desiccated coconut. Combine the layers in a cross sectional spoonful and the harmony of the flavours is simply .... heaven ! Frankly it's so good that I usually have it for me and my friends’ birthdays and quite frankly I can even finish the whole cake all by myself(yes me and my sweet tooth) !
