This cafe which originated from Osaka Japan, is well known for its made-to-order millefeuille pancakes stacked from 2 to 8 layers and topped up or sandwiched with fruits and fresh cream. In case you are not aware, these Japanese style pancakes are made with egg whites that are actually whipped into a meringue. After checking out the menu, my friend and I decided to try the Caramel Apple Pancake, stacked 8 high. Overall, the pancakes were fluffy, soft and tasted fresh out of the oven. They were fortunately not too sweet even with the homemade caramel sauce drippled on top. At $16.20 +++ for 8 pieces, we felt that it was quite reasonably priced. Plus the serving was hearty enough to get the job done of making two pax full at the very least lol. The only thing I wish was for the outlet to be more generous with condiments. For instance, additional slabs of butter comes at a cost of $1 so we made do with our given. And for a stack of 8 pancakes, the single scoop of ice cream was a bit too small to share lol. Nevertheless, it was a good experience and time was well spent over chit chat at the cosy cafe.
