Review of a trip to Singapore

A vibrant destination you must visit at least once! 🦁💙 Hello everyone! Today, I want to share my recent trip to Singapore, which was absolutely delightful, colorful, and fun. Singapore is a small yet charming country with plenty to explore—stunning views, delicious food, diverse cultures, and it's clean, safe, and very easy to get around. ⸻ Day 1: Jewel Changi Airport—A dreamlike beauty! 🌿💦 Upon arriving at Changi Airport, the first thing I encountered was Jewel Changi. This place is like a shopping mall combined with a beautiful garden, featuring the world's tallest indoor waterfall (Rain Vortex), standing at about 40 meters high! Walking in, I was stunned by its beauty—lush greenery everywhere, making it feel like a fairytale garden. I strolled around, taking photos and enjoying the atmosphere. There are also many cute cafes and restaurants. I opted for a matcha green tea frappe and a strawberry cake, which were perfectly sweet and so delicious I had to get seconds. Starting the trip with such a delightful experience, it's no wonder everyone loves this airport. ⸻ Day 2: Spectacular views at Marina Bay Sands & Gardens by the Bay 🏙️✨ I started the day early with a visit to Marina Bay Sands (MBS), a key symbol of Singapore. The SkyPark offers a 360-degree view of the city and Marina Bay. The weather was great, with a cool breeze, giving off a luxurious vibe. Even though I didn’t swim in the infinity pool, the experience was still amazing. Afterward, I walked to Gardens by the Bay, home to the iconic Supertree Grove. At night, there’s a light and music show that left me in awe. It was such a romantic moment. The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest were also stunning. The Cloud Forest, with its indoor waterfall and cool atmosphere, felt like stepping into a rainforest—my favorite part of the day. ⸻ Day 3: A thrilling day at Universal Studios Singapore 🎢🎠 For theme park lovers, Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island is a must-visit. The tickets might be pricey, but they’re worth it. Every zone has exciting rides, from the cool dinosaurs in Jurassic Park to the futuristic Transformers zone and the adorable Madagascar area. I enjoyed the rides so much that I was exhausted by the end of the day. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. There was even a parade featuring cute cartoon characters. If you plan to visit, set aside a whole day—it’s so much fun you’ll lose track of time! ⸻ Day 4: Shopping spree at Orchard Road and local delicacies 🛍️🍲 Orchard Road is a shopping paradise. With a variety of malls and brands, I shopped to my heart’s content, buying cute souvenirs and stylish clothes for friends. The food here is also amazing. I tried Singaporean chicken rice, which was perfectly savory, Laksa with its rich flavor, and Chili Crab, which was slightly spicy but incredibly delicious. ⸻ Day 5: Cultural exploration at Chinatown and Little India 🎨🍛 I loved walking around Chinatown, filled with charming shops selling clothes, souvenirs, and sweet treats like Mango Sticky Rice, which was just the right amount of sweet. Next, I visited Little India, bursting with vibrant colors and the aroma of spices everywhere. I explored spice shops and home decor stores, feeling like I had stepped into another world. It’s a unique and charming side of Singapore. ⸻ Final day: Relaxing at Sentosa Island 🏖️🐬 On the last day, I chose to unwind at Sentosa Island by the beach. The white sand and clear waters were perfect for relaxing with a cold ice cream. It was so peaceful and refreshing. I also watched a fountain show and visited the aquarium, where adorable dolphins stole the show. It was the perfect way to end the trip—relaxing and fulfilling. ⸻ Tips for enjoying Singapore to the fullest 🌟 • Get an Ez-Link or Tourist Pass for convenient MRT and bus rides. • Carry a small umbrella as it can rain anytime, though not for long. • Don’t miss local dishes like Laksa, Chili Crab, and Hainanese Chicken Rice. • Take photos at iconic landmarks like the Merlion, Jewel Changi, Supertree Grove, and Marina Bay Sands. ⸻ Final thoughts 💕 Singapore is a clean, safe, and modern city, yet it retains a warm and diverse cultural charm. I was impressed from the beautiful airport to the variety of attractions and the delicious food. If you’re looking for a nearby destination that’s easy to travel to and offers a great vibe, I highly recommend Singapore. Thank you for reading my review to the end. I hope it’s helpful and enjoyable. See you on my next trip! 😘💙
