Review of a First-Time Trip to Singapore

🌟 4 Days 3 Nights in Singapore: A Small City with a Big Heart and Endless Charm! 🇸🇬💛 Hello everyone~ Today, I’m excited to share my delightful experience from my recent trip to a country that everyone says is "a must-visit." Now I understand why people say that… Yes! That country is Singapore 🎡✨ This small, clean, and safe country near home is packed with unique attractions, from indoor waterfalls and floating malls to sky gardens and cloud-piercing buildings. Even the chicken rice here is amazing! (Seriously!) 😂 ⸻ ✈️ DAY 1: Hello Singapore~ Falling in love with the airport! We departed from Don Mueang Airport, and after a little over 2 hours, we arrived at Changi Airport, which is often hailed as the most beautiful airport in the world—and it truly is! 💖 Changi isn’t just an ordinary airport; it’s a landmark in itself, especially the Jewel Changi Airport with its Rain Vortex, the tallest indoor waterfall in the world 🌧️🪴. It’s absolutely stunning! The misty waterfall with light streaming through the curved glass feels like a scene from a Hollywood movie. We spent time relaxing, taking photos, and wandering around the Shiseido Forest Valley, a real indoor garden. We also tried Auntie Anne’s pretzels, which gave us an international vibe but smelled like home. 555 Afterward, we took the MRT into the city using an EZ-Link card. The MRT here is super clean, air-conditioned throughout, and as comfortable as Japan’s trains 🎫🚇. That night, we stayed in the Bugis area, a central location with convenient transportation, lots of malls, and cafes. Photography lovers will adore this area for its many picturesque spots. ⸻ 🌼 DAY 2: Merlion – Gardens by the Bay – Marina Bay Sands 🦁🌉🌸 We woke up with excitement because today was all about landmarks! Starting with Merlion Park, we greeted the iconic lion statue spouting water 🦁💦. Seeing it in person was surprisingly moving, even though I’ve seen it countless times in photos. Across the park is Marina Bay Sands, famous for its luxurious accommodations (but you can enjoy the view for free, haha). The morning view here is fantastic, with gentle breezes, boats passing by, and sunlight reflecting off the glass buildings—so sparkly! ✨ Next, we headed to Gardens by the Bay, home to the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Missing these would be a huge regret! • 🌺 Flower Dome: Features vibrant flowers from around the world, with themes that change every season. • ⛅ Cloud Forest: Includes a towering indoor waterfall! The interior is cool and refreshing, and you can walk up the skywalk for a high-angle view. After soaking in the beauty, we explored the mall beneath Marina Bay Sands and went up to the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck. The view from up there is breathtaking—you can see the entire city island. If you visit in the evening, you’ll catch the sunset and city lights, which are indescribably beautiful! 🌇 ⸻ 🎠 DAY 3: Universal Studios Singapore – Fun for all ages! Today was our "kid-at-heart" day as we ventured to USS (Universal Studios Singapore) on Sentosa Island 🎡🎬. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by roller coasters, laughter, and movie soundtracks—it felt like stepping into a cinematic world 🎞️. • My favorite was Transformers The Ride, which made me feel like I was part of an action-packed chase scene. • Revenge of the Mummy was thrillingly dark and intense! • Of course, we took tons of photos with Minions, Madagascar characters, and Shrek. We walked until our legs were sore but couldn’t stop laughing. If you’re visiting as a couple, there are plenty of sweet moments, like holding hands while screaming on rides—romance in the battlefield 🤣❤️. In the evening, we returned to Clarke Quay, a lively riverside area perfect for a relaxing dinner by the water, browsing souvenir shops, or taking a boat ride to admire the city. ⸻ 🛍️ DAY 4: Shopping, eating, and flying home with a full heart 💛 On our last morning, we visited Chinatown to shop for souvenirs like tea, boxed snacks, magnets, keychains, postcards, and handmade items from local designers 🍵📮. We also tried the legendary chicken rice at Maxwell Food Centre (Tian Tian Chicken Rice). The chicken was tender, the rice fragrant, and the sauce flavorful—so good I wanted a second serving 🍗. Before heading home, we went back to Jewel (again!) and indulged in Llaollao yogurt with fruit jelly, which was so delicious it made my eyes widen. I wished I could bring some back to Thailand 😋✈️. ⸻ 🌈 Impressions I want to share ✨ The city is impeccably clean—everywhere feels polished 😅. ✨ Easy to navigate with clear signs and an intuitive MRT system—you won’t get lost. ✨ Singaporeans are kind and helpful, especially when I couldn’t find my way. ✨ Green spaces are abundant, making the city feel fresh even in the urban center. ✨ Food is delicious and surprisingly affordable, especially at food courts. ⸻ 💌 Final thoughts Singapore is a small country that made me fall in love with every step I took. It’s clean, safe, filled with kind people, and offers attractions that blend nature, technology, and urban life seamlessly. If you’ve never been, give it a chance—you’ll discover how this small city can bring a big smile to your face 😊. Thank you, Singapore, for filling my heart with joy. I’ll definitely come back again 💖🧸🌷.
