The Hunan and Cantonese cuisine at Shenzhen Renaissance Hotel's R Bar is excellent.

I've been visiting a lot of Renaissance Hotels recently. After visiting the Zhuhai and Suzhou branches, I came to Shenzhen Renaissance Hotel to meet up with friends. 🥂🥂🥂 R Bar is located on the second floor of the hotel. In the morning, it serves as a breakfast buffet for hotel guests, and in the afternoon and evening, it transforms into a Chinese restaurant serving Hunan and Cantonese cuisine. This dual-purpose setup is quite unique among Renaissance Hotels worldwide. 😝😝😝 Since there were only a few of us, we ordered a few signature dishes. The "Baked Tiger Prawns with Wasabi Sauce" features large prawns, and the addition of wasabi requires diners to taste it carefully, although eating it in one bite is also an option. The prawns are chewy and fresh, and the freshness of the ingredients is evident with each bite. 🦐🦐🦐 The "18-Second Stir-Fried Beef" is an upgraded version of the classic Hunan dish "Stir-Fried Beef." The addition of various ingredients makes the beef incredibly flavorful. The dish's name likely comes from the chef's skill in stir-frying the beef for 18 seconds, resulting in a perfect texture. 🐂🐂🐂 The "Hakka Stuffed Tofu" features small tofu pieces that absorb flavors well. The filling contains less fatty meat, making it less greasy, which I appreciate.
