3.7 Field Report｜My first cherry blossom photos of '25 are dedicated to Chenshan Botanical Garden!

Every cherry blossom season, I make a trip to Chenshan. Even when I was pregnant last year, I joined in the fun. This is my fifth year taking photos of the cherry blossoms here. Compared to the huge crowds last year, perhaps because it's a working day and the weather is cold, there are far fewer people on Cherry Blossom Avenue at Gate 1 this year. If you wait a bit, you can even get a clear shot without anyone in it. I estimate that about 80% of the early-blooming cherry blossoms have opened, but not all of them. The best viewing time might be next week. However, tomorrow is the weekend and Women's Day, with half-price admission, so I guess every tree will be crowded with people again. - 📷Photo spots: ✔️The new spot near the Rose Garden (Sakura Ferry Crossing) is really great for photos. I recommend heading there as soon as you enter the park. ✔️The benches by the river offer a view of the cherry blossoms and the lake, creating a rich scene and allowing you to avoid some of the crowds. ✔️The cherry trees at the entrance to Cherry Blossom Avenue are always crowded.
