Selingan Turtle Island

#myhiddengems Great conservation effort to protect sea turtles. This is a genuine research centre with a long lasting history demonstrating its success. Unique in that turtles come to lay eggs close to every night, seeing turtles is nearly a given. As part of your stay you get to stroll around the island (highly recommend) as you might get the chance to see a hatchling make its way to the ocean. Also plenty of monitor lizards make for a fun wildlife experience. In the evening you will get to see one turtle lay its eggs and afterwards see how the rangers re-burry those eggs in a protected area. Afterwards, you get to watch the hatchlings from that day be released. Go for an early morning (6am) stroll to maybe even see some straggler turtles get back to the ocean.
