Turtle Islands National Park - Malaysia

#myhiddengems An incredibly beautiful experience. The trip is quite pricey (for Malaysia) but well worth every penny. It takes you about 45 minutes by boat from Sandakan to the island. Once you arrive you will be flooded with beauty. The coral reefs are beautiful, the water is crystal clear, and the beaches are clean. In the evening program the real work begins. The mother turtles come ashore to lay eggs. The professional ranger will do everything they can to make the turtles as safe and peaceful as possible. However, some tourists do everything they can to take a good picture. Don't be so greedy and therefore think about the animals and not your photo. Turn off your flash and speak softly.
