[Sakaiminato] Sakaiminato: A city where you can immerse yourself in the world of Shigeru Mizuki

#Spring0yentrip From Yonago Station, take the JR Sakai Line, where trains decorated with Gegege no Kitaro motifs run, to Sakaiminato Station, which takes about 50 minutes. From there, you can walk to Mizuki Shigeru Road, where you will be greeted by many monsters. There are many bronze monster statues lined up along the road, and it was very interesting to walk along while looking at each one carefully. I got excited every time I found a familiar character, such as Kitaro or Ratman. The whole street is like a theme park, and the shops and cafes are unified with monster motifs, so it's exciting. It's a place where you can enjoy yourself slowly while taking photos. Mizuki Shigeru's worldview is alive throughout the town, and it's a time when you can feel playfulness and nostalgia. There is also a Mizuki Shigeru Memorial Museum, so be sure to visit!
