One of most beautiful abbeys in Normandy

#westerneurope #normandy #france #europe Abbey of Saint Wandrille is absolutely recommended to visit as half of a day trip from Paris or Rouen. Abbey is located in charming little village called Rives-en-Sein and it’s a beautiful historical and cultural landmark. The admission is free (though, you have to pay if you’d like a guided tour) and there are a few buildings at the premises. The main building is very impressive and features beautiful ruins, absolutely magical! Smaller churches are humble yet tranquil and interesting to wonder inside and spend a few minutes contemplating.
