Day 7 in Iceland was a dreamy blend of relaxation, indulgence, and cozy city strolls ❄️♨️. We started our morning at the iconic Blue Lagoon, soaking in its ethereal, milky-blue geothermal waters surrounded by lava fields. The steamy contrast against the chilly air was pure magic — like bathing in a fairytale (10/10 experience!) After the spa vibes, it was time for a caffeine fix at Reykjavik Roasters ☕. This charming café near Hallgrímskirkja ⛪ stole our hearts with its vintage furniture, warm atmosphere, and coffee served in the cutest little kettles. We grabbed takeaways from the beloved Brauð & Co. 🥐🍞, where the scent of freshly baked cinnamon rolls and sourdough was irresistible. Their bold, colorful storefront is a Reykjavik must-snap — and the buns? Soft, sticky, and soul-warming. Lunch brought us to Reykjavik Fish 🐟🍟, a cozy spot near the harbor that felt like stepping into a fisherman’s cottage. The fish & chips were crispy, fresh, and served with a choice of sauces that made it hard to pick a favorite! In the afternoon, we did some outlet shopping 🛍️ (a little retail therapy never hurts on a cloudy day!). Come evening, we dined at Messinn, a rustic seafood restaurant serving up sizzling pan-fried fish in Icelandic butter 🧈🥔. The copper pans came straight from the kitchen to our table — warm, comforting, and oh-so-delicious. We ended our day with a peaceful walk around Tjörnin Lake 🌅🦆, Reykjavik’s beloved city pond.
