My Czech Republic tour brought me from Prague to Karlovy Vary and Český Krumlov. Prague: Take a self guided walk from Vyšehrad Fortress to Wallenstein Garden, passing by the iconic St. Peter and St. Paul Basilica (Vyšehrad) with its striking neo-Gothic architecture, descend along the Vltava River towards Prague main city where you will see the Jiráskův most (Jirásek Bridge) and the famous Charles Bridge. Karlovy Vary: It's namesake Charles Bath, a reflection of the history of this dreamy spa town. At the heart of Karlovy Vary, you will find the experiential ritual of tasting the mineral springs. Go for a hands-on exploration of tasting the unique waters of each spring. The best part? It's free! Český Krumlov: This is the true highlight as the walk around the castle grounds provide breathtaking views, and make me feel as though I have teleported to Shrek's movie set.
