Charles Bridge in Prague, Czech Republic

Charles Bridge, located in the capital city of Prague, is one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. Construction began in 1357 under the direction of Emperor Charles IV, serving as a connection between Prague Castle and the Old Town. The bridge is adorned with 30 statues, most of which depict saints or religious figures, each with its own historical significance. From either end of Charles Bridge, you can observe the contrasting landscapes of Prague's Old Town and New Town.
