PORTOVENERE : A Castle at the peak of an Italian coast

Everything seems so picturesque, gentle breeze on a quiet peaceful evening uphill. The speck of light during sunset hours made the sky looks poetic. Getting here on a bike is much more thrilling, the view is spectacular. Never gets old, 24 times in and out of Italy, this island still amazes me ALL THE TIME. Boats/ferries only operates in summer season. On off peak you go by local bus OR drive/ bike your way down from city centre to the island. #italy #beautiful_italy #travel #staycation
