#weekendgetaways Love this basement level, no window, William Morris wallpapered cozy bar with great food. I’ve been in Portland a little over one year and finally found nice bar that I feel revisiting many times to come. Too bad I only had a short time , I only had pickle spiced fries, which was very good but next time I will ask to go easy on salt/spice because it was a bit too salty for me. We sat at the bar by the kitchen, this was good spot to see how it’s all done. I wish I had more time and had whole dinner. The menu items looked interesting. The cocktail I had Islay Daiquiri was very good, sweet but not too sweet and smoky note. My husband had Painkiller Cobbler. This was in purple and pretty to look at, and tasted juicy and sweet. They have a great many whiskeys. Next time I will make a solid plan and have proper dinner and try few cocktails.
