Phimai Castle

Phimai Historical Park is an ancient Khmer-style stone castle in the Bapuan style, located in Phimai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. It consists of large and beautiful stone castles from the Khmer Empire. They were built during the reign of King Suryavarman I around the 11th Buddhist century to be used as a temple for the Brahman religion, and later changed to Mahayana Buddhism.
