Phimai Historical Park | Nakhon Ratchasima

The Phimai Historical Park, as shown in the picture, is a significant historical site located in Nakhon Ratchasima province. The main structure of the temple is built in the Khmer architectural style, characterized by three prangs (towers) lined up in a row, representing the blend of Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. The temple is constructed from sandstone and bricks, with intricate carvings. Within the temple grounds, there is a graceful Buddha statue in the Maravijaya posture. Despite some parts being damaged, it still reflects the grandeur of the past. The surrounding atmosphere is serene, with green spaces suitable for walking and relaxation. Phimai Historical Park is an ideal tourist destination for those interested in history and ancient architecture. It is open daily with a small entrance fee.
