One of the best ways to view the vast archeological site and wonder of the world that is Petra is to take yourself off the main path and onto some of the many trails that traverse this ancient and stunning landscape. Just beyond the sites most famous feature of the Treasury is your first opportunity to do so and within a 5 minute walk towards the sites Royal tombs you will have a vista across much of the site, that will allow you to see the true size of the site, keeping in mind that just 15% of it has been discovered to date. #aprilblooms #petra #7wondersoftheworld
