Spring into Petra: A Blooming Adventure Through Time

It was the perfect way to rest, enjoy some local food, and reflect on the experience without rushing. ✍🏼 Tips for Visiting Petra in Spring: - Arrive early:The gates open around 6 AM. You’ll avoid crowds and catch the soft golden light through the Siq and on the Treasury. - Wear good shoes: There’s a lot of walking and some uneven paths. Hiking shoes or sturdy sneakers make a big difference. - Bring layers: Mornings are fresh, but it gets warm by midday. A light jacket or sweater is ideal. - Don’t skip the hike to the Monastery – It takes around 45 minutes with many steps, but the view (and the Monastery itself) is absolutely worth it. - Pack water and snacks: There are some shops and tea stands, but it's best to bring your own for the hike. - Stay overnight nearby: Wadi Musa has cozy guesthouses and small hotels.
