Longxing Temple | A thousand-year-old temple worth visiting near Chengdu.

🔶Longxing Temple was built in the third year of Xiankang (33 AD) during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was originally named "Dakuong Temple", renamed "Dayun Temple" by Wu Zetian, and given the name "Longxing Temple" by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. 🔶The most precious treasure in Longxing Temple is the stupa containing the Buddha's relics, located directly in front of the temple. It is one of the 19 existing stupas containing the Buddha's true body relics in China. 📷Main shooting locations: 🟠Top of the pagoda: The top of the pagoda offers a panoramic view of Pengzhou and different perspectives. Inside the pagoda, there are many Buddha statues and scriptures, which are exquisite and solemn. It is not recommended to bring children, as they may be scared. 🟠Around the pagoda: There are many halls around the pagoda, with exquisite architecture. A wide-angle shot of the pagoda from bottom to top is very impressive. 🟠Puti cafe: Inside the temple, there is a "Puti cafe". You can enter through a small door and have tea. At the entrance, you can also see a miniature version of "Longxing Temple", which is also very photogenic! 🟠Main gate: The main gate is very impressive, especially when using a long exposure to capture the reflection in the water. Unfortunately, I didn't bring a neutral density filter or tripod. 🎨About food: 🚘A 20-minute drive will take you to Jiuchi Town, where you can choose from hotpot🍲 and Chinese cuisine🥢: ✔️Fafa Hotpot: Try the goose intestine hotpot, the goose intestine is really fresh, open for lunch and dinner! ✔️Jiuchi Yuanma Grandma's Shop: Not far from Fafa Hotpot, must-try boneless meat and smoked duck, good value for money.
