Osaka: A 5-Day, 4-Night Trip Full of Charm 🎀🌸

Osaka is a city bursting with unintentional vibrancy, effortlessly chic, endlessly adorable, and overwhelmingly warm! This trip, I’ll share my gentle and heartwarming experiences with you. If you’re still debating whether to visit Osaka, let me tell you—just go! You’ll fall in love before you even realize it. 🩵 🍡 Day 1 – Hello Osaka~ Finally, we meet! We took a direct flight from Thailand and arrived at Kansai Airport in the early morning, greeted by a cool breeze right at the airplane door. The trip began with purchasing an ICOCA card and topping it up a bit, followed by a ride on the Nankai Line into Osaka city. 🎐 Tonight, we stayed near Namba, which was perfect because it’s close to Dotonbori. Just a few minutes’ walk and you’re surrounded by food! After dropping off our bags, we immediately went out to soak in the atmosphere. The Glico sign was as grand as I’d seen in reviews. 🏃♂️💨 We had takoyaki at Kukuru (with octopus tentacles sticking out!) and then ramen at Ichiran, the famous solo dining spot. The rich and flavorful taste was truly heartwarming. 🍜✨ 🎡 Day 2 – Osaka Castle & Dreamy Cafés 🍵 We started the day at Osaka Castle, an ancient landmark that symbolizes the city. The surrounding green gardens were so relaxing; sitting under a tree and listening to birds chirping was pure bliss. 🍃🕊️ Inside the castle, there’s an exhibition about history and the samurai era. We climbed to the top floor for a panoramic view of Osaka, with a gentle breeze hitting our faces—it felt like being in a Japanese drama. 💌 In the afternoon, we switched to café mode and headed to Nakazakicho, a vintage area filled with hidden cafés. We visited “Nyan Nyan Café,” where there were lots of cats, delicious matcha, and sweet mochi treats. 🐱🍡 In the evening, we stopped by Shinsaibashi for some shopping—cute cosmetics, clothes, and more. It was a wallet-draining but heart-filling experience. 🎀💴 🎢 Day 3 – A Dream Day @ USJ 🏰✨ Get ready to scream because today we went to Universal Studios Japan (USJ)!!! 🥳 We started at the Harry Potter zone, walking through cobblestone alleys and ancient buildings until we stood before Hogwarts Castle—it was so emotional I almost cried. 😭 We had Butterbeer, sweet and fizzy, and rode the Forbidden Journey, which left us screaming until we lost our voices. 🎢 Next was the newest zone, Super Nintendo World 🌈🍄, which felt like stepping into a Mario game! Everything was so colorful, and the Mario Kart ride, an AR experience, let us race while wearing goggles and shooting shells—it was insanely fun. 💥 We barely rested all day, but our hearts were full to the brim. I even brought home a Yoshi coin purse that’s so cute I want to cuddle it. 🐢💚 🛍️ Day 4 – Shop! Eat! Shop Again! We started the day by taking a train to Shinsekai, snapping photos with the Tsutenkaku Tower, and enjoying Kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers dipped in Japanese sauce) at a famous local spot. Each bite was heavenly. 🍢 Then we headed to Namba Parks, a mall that feels like a rooftop garden! With lots of greenery and cute shops, the photos turned out looking super Korean. 📷🌿 In the afternoon, we explored Amerikamura, or “Amemura” as the locals call it. This area is a must-visit for fashion lovers, with tons of street-style and vintage clothing stores. 🛍️ In the evening, we stopped by Don Quijote for another round of souvenir shopping—unique KitKat flavors, adorable snack boxes, and TikTok-famous cosmetics were all there. 😆🎁 🌙 Day 5 – A Bittersweet Farewell On our last morning, we took a leisurely stroll around Tennoji Park, sipping coffee under the trees and listening to the rustling leaves in the cool breeze. It was so heartwarming. 🍃☕ We also visited Shitennoji Temple, a serene and ancient site that recharged our spirits before heading home. ✨ Finally, it was time to pack up and head to the airport. On the quiet train ride back, I played a Japanese playlist softly and gazed out the window, feeling that Osaka truly is an adorable city. 🥹💗 🌟 Final Thoughts 🧸 Osaka is a city with charming chaos, playful vibes, delicious food that makes you wish for two extra stomachs, and a gentle warmth that keeps you wanting to return.
